This is a unique unit that appears only in Operation Wedge, starting with the second mission. It is an elite unit of infantry from the Red Army. They have higher damage, higher health, and a longer range than regular infantry.

Health: Average, about 25-50% higher than a normal infantry squad

Tactic[]
This unit deals high damage to infantry, so it is worth using against enemy infantry and anti-tank infantry. Also, due to its high mobility, this unit will be ideal for reconnaissance, and maneuver even in difficult terrain. Health is enough to withstand several shots from enemy infantry, or more than 1 shot from an armored car / light tank Panzer 3 even in an open field, but it is better to hide this unit in forest or city.
Cheap price and reasonable health pool make this unit an effective vanguard/scout, superior to infantry in direct combat.

- This is the most mobile infantry unit in the game.
- This is one of three special units that can be purchased. It costs 250 gold instead of 200 for regular infantry.
- This is one of two infantry units that cannot be fully restored in one instant supply. When the health is low, two supplies are required. The other such unit is the Elite 82mm Mortar.
